Born 1983 in Waterbury CT

Grew up in parts of CT, FL and NY

Attended Sidney Central School from K thru middle of 6th grade
Graduated from Unatego Central School in 2001 with a business sequence 

Worked in local retail / retail management, primarily with c-stores such as - Quickway (Sidney and Masonville locations), Red Apple (Unadilla), Hess (Bainbridge/Sidney), Express Mart (Sidney), Xtra Mart / Global / Mirabito (Afton)

Was invited to work as Administration Assistant to the lessee of Chenango Valley Ranch (Rt 206, Greene) and The New Echo Lake Resort (Rt 41, Afton) in 2007, taking the leap in 2008.

Started my own business designing business cards and flyers for local friends in 2011, establishing Ones-Self Design & Productions.

In 2010 I learned I was pregnant with my first / only child, Mollianna Mae Matthews.
Molli was born to the angels on May 13, 2011 at Lourdes in Binghamton and lay to rest at Prospect Cemetery in Sidney, New York were she is very near three of my beautiful angel cousins, Michael (Mikey), Jessica and Charles. 

During the fundraising process for burial and memorial expenses, the community (my amazing friends, family and their friends and family) came together and raised more than enough to cover costs, including the $700+ headstone that I will eventually share with my sweet baby girl. With expenses exceeded, I took the remaining funds back to Bainbridge Memorial Works and explained I'd like to fundraise for a stone to place in the same cemetery for a shared grave honoring Mikey and Jessica Matthews. Gary (owner at the time) and I shared tears that day, as he recalled the evening these two little lives were taken too soon (as a firefighter on the scene of the house fire)... Gary explained that there was a gravestone that had been ordered but not to the liking of the purchaser, he offer to flip the stone around and engrave it for my cousins. This enabled us to look for another family who may need something proper for remembering and honoring their baby / or child and this is when Mollianna's Mission was born.

The mission went on to provide remembrance cards and graphics to bereaved parents all around the globe; and provided several memorial stones throughout the local area (Walton, Sidney, Unadilla to name a few). The mission came to an end in 2014 following the struggles of keeping the organization funded and supported. "The buzz" and overwhelming number of volunteers fizzled. I do still someday hope to afford to go back to assisting families with funding honorable memorial stones for their pregnancy and infant losses - through the profit generated from a successful business. No, I am not there yet... But don't count me out.

When I learned I was pregnant in 2010 I was able to quit my unreasonable drinking habits. For a long while following the loss of my daughter I stayed dry... Until I didn't.
I was able to get sober again in the beginning of 2015 when I also quit my nicotine habit and traded these addictions for two new addictions, 1 loving Ryan Whitmore and 2 saving money to begin a better life that we could share together. 
Throughout it all, I remained a consistent and dedicated advocate for cannabis. Without my Mary Jane I would have NEVER been able to stop drinking or smoking cigarettes.
December 31st 2022 I would enjoy my final toke.
Today is January 13, 2023 and I have been 300 hours free of cannabis. It feels like much longer. It feels like I should have done this a long time ago. It feels like my relationship with marijuana is really over.... and the beat goes on!  (photo above is most recent 01-11-2023)
